I was originally down on this series because I blamed it for the cancellation of Earth'#39;s Mightiest Heroes. I tried it on a whim expecting my blind hatred to be justified, but this series is really great. The animation leaves some to be desired, but the voice cast is nothing but solid and the tone is exactly what I look for in the Avengers.

After 3 episodes it really feels like fluff fanfiction made into a cartoon. Awesome!

Almost through the first season and though I enjoyed it, overall it feels a bit dead. Mostly the city feels empty with no background characters. So nothing feels like a real threat. The voices and dialogue aren't the best, sometimes cringy. But the animation and character design is pretty solid. The backgrounds however are awful and feel like they just added a toon filter to a bunch of photos. Also, why does black widow only show up every once in a while?

The show is okay so far, but they have to stop doing the random aspect ratio switching. It changes so abruptly and so often that action becomes hard to follow. It is quite distracting and the only thing I can think about when watching.
