Entertaining take on slasher movies that does not waste any time on plot. Throws the protagonist right on into the killing fray with some really descent, practical gore effects.

Yet another gorefest. It’s well made and better than some but barely worth sticking with all the same.

Cool practical gore effects and some decent camera work. Now if only they could've made a good movie out of it..

Like street meat from a fishy trailer in the wrong part of town, The Furies looks homemade and you really enjoy it, even though it might make you sick. The Furies has an amateur / indie feel that is easy to forget once the killing begins. Gory and original, the psycho story only gets better with one or two twists and a boost from the very strong soundscaping. It may not win any awards, but The Furies is better than most of the horror out there and, like that sweet street meat, it'#39;ll hit the spot... over and over again.

Spoilers

I really wanted to like this movie a lot more than I actually did. Turns out it was basically just another movie about torturing teen girls. The payoff is that the girls win in the end, but that only makes them more of the horrible monsters that the men in the movie and vision them as.

Spoilers

Wished for this movie to go in a different direction than it did, even though it had some nice potential
to get some fun team ups of killers and victims, sadly the movie chose not to go in that direction
the gore was nicely done though a bit thin on plot the whole thing.
