A nice addition to the franchise, not the best acting but some good chucky kills. worth a watch if you'#39;re a fan of the original.

The plot isn'#39;t the best, the pacing is all over the place and there'#39;s some very questionable acting going on at times. But listen... Jennifer Tilly is in it for a few glorious minutes so I didn'#39;t completely waste my time.

Spoilers

After parts 1 'amp; 2 (part 3 was at least watchable) this series took a turn for the worse and started turning more into some lame dark comedy series than horror movies. This entry continues the downward trend (though it isn'#39;t as bad as Seed of Chucky) by having a basically non-existent plot.
The characters that are brought back from previous entries in the series (Andy and after the credits Kyle) serve no purpose whatsoever.
Also, you'#39;d think the effects of Chucky would become better over the years but instead they seem to get worse with each release. Chucky himself looks like some kind of fat toddler with eyebrows painted on with a marker. Not scary, just stupid.

I’m late on this but Mancini shows how the legacy sequel is done, super fun movie that brings back some classic characters while adding a nice twist to the existing mythology. The kills are all a lot of fun with some nice gore and Chucky is firing on all cylinders. Really enjoyed it and I’m glad I put the series on hold to catch up with everything that came before.

Well, I guess the Chucky series have joined other slasher movies that embrace it'#39;s terrible, yet entertaining purpose for a straight to video movie. Also, I can'#39;t imagine Charles Ray having any free time to watch the TV show Hannibal. I mean, a killer doll I can accept, for whatever reason.

Hmm. One of those sequels where I doubt that anyone asked for it. Mediocre

I enjoyed this one much more than Curse, which I thought was mostly boring. Even though the third act was a bit of a mess.

'gt;*"If I wanted you dead, you'd be tits up by now."* Chucky goes psychological horror in the cuckoo's nest and mass hysteria settles in as every patient thinks a killer doll is alive. Love the asylum setting and the snow that's always a bonus. The kills are more gory and bloody than your usual Chucky movie which is a big improvement and they were all excelently crafted (except for the glass one it felt kinda fake). The psychological horror elements were a nice addition and played well with the story. There's also a few unexpected twists along the way and the third act was a blast. The fan service is through the roof, be prepared to see lots of familiar faces from previous movies. Fiona Dourif is electric especially in the last third, she needs to be in more movies! After credits was amazing, again. I feel like this is the entry that brings the entire franchise together and makes everything fit together and it did a great job at that.

Wow that was so bad. It'#39;s trying to be gory but it'#39;s pathetic. There'#39;s so many whisperings and so many jump scares a.k.a. an increase in volume of the audio. Nothing scary at all

Without a doubt the worst film in the Child'#39;s play franchise. The story isn'#39;t that interesting and really forgettable. However, I did like the fact that there were multiple Chucky'#39;s and that there were some entertaining kills.

A disappointing entry in this storied series, Cult of Chucky attempts to set a new course and makes a mess of things in the process. After her family is killed by Chucky, Nica is committed to a mental hospital but finds that Chucky has followed her there looking to finish the job. There’s also a worthless subplot with Andy (from the first three films) that the writers don’t seem to know what to do with but got boxed into by Curse’s end credit scenes. And all the old mythology about Charles Ray (aka Chucky) and his voodoo powers gets thrown out and replaced. Still, the kills are pretty entertaining (in a horror movie king of way), and there’s a bit of mystery as to which of the two dolls at the hospital is the real Chucky and what his plan is. Cult of Chucky lacks vision and ends up as just another dumb, pointless slasher film.

It'#39;s amazing that they were able to keep all the sequels in the same story but this one is just forgettable. They bring back original characters and do nothing with them. I don'#39;t know if the reboot is going to be good but it might be time for one.

U know what'#39;s fuckin crazy Curse Of Chucky wasn'#39;t bad By HOW TF they went from Curse of Chucky to this piece of shit it'#39;s Ridiculous

Considering the setting and the return of Brad Dourif (as well as his daughter), this could have been called One Flew Over The Chuckoo Nest. Not that we should compare this kind of film to that movie classic, of course. As it is, this is yet another sequel in the overlong series. It'#39;s not that great, either, and I am surprised it still has a cult following.

Some decent kills for series fans but overall it'#39;s pretty bad. Terrible use of one character in particular. Disappointing, but has some fun moments here and there. 5.2

My 2nd favorite out of the series. More chuckies to deal with and it's pretty funny and awesome. And the original Andy from the first 2 is back in this movie. Loved it!

Kind of shits the bed in terms of the _Child's Play_ mythos, and looks as cheap as it is, but it's always a good time watching Chucky do his thing. _Final rating:★★ - Had some things that appeal to me, but a poor finished product._

Literally one of the worst films I've ever seen. I saw Child's Play 1 and 2 years ago and enjoyed them but skipped over the later movies. Watched this as I saw it had a great review somewhere online in those 'overlooked horror movie' lists. But wow. This was awful. I was angry with myself for watching until the end. Total garbage.
