Great after-credits scene :-D Play with this! *bang*.

Awesome course correction for the series after the abysmal Seed. Goes back to its roots and aims for straight out horror. And it'#39;s pretty effective in that regard. What I like most is that unlike other lazier franchises, it doesn'#39;t just write off the weaker entries as non existent, but rather finds a way to tie in the whole mythology.

Why can'#39;t Chucky just settle down with Barbie and have a lovely family of Cabbage Patch dolls, instead of venturing on yet another killing spree? Well, until he does, here we go with another slasher pic that is okay for the fans, but won'#39;t win over any converts. Standard Chucky flick, but at least it brings back the horror after the parody it was fast becoming.

A decent reboot/sequel that'#39;s better than the usual made for DVD movie. And certainly better than some of the other sequels.

Surprisingly good movie!

Damn! with Hollywood destroying so many icons, i wasn'#39;t expecting this to be so good! after 23 year.... hes finally back! :D .

Another mediocre movie in the series. Why not make less but better movies? Ok for fans

sucks! big time! horrible! "another word for horrible!"

How did I get talked into watching this.

This one was interesting, felt like a completely different franchise after all the others. And it was good, I liked it a lot, but it suffered from horror movie characters in a major way, that the others didn't because they were self-aware and silly enough to not have that problem. This one, I had questions, which were mostly "why is X so stupid?" But the characters were interesting, the acting was extremely good, and the violence was positively tasteful compared to other entries. Also goddamn but Fiona Dourif looks so much like her dad.

A little better as a seed of chucky. It'#39;s not necessarily horrible, it'#39;s just sinister. It has a very fast start, I expected to find out more at the beginning. The action is ok. Chucky was a little worse, that is, in the face, but the actor played ok.

I thought the beginning wasn'#39;t that interesting, but the last half hour was great. I especially enjoyed Charles'#39; backstory about his relationship with the family.

Dark and atmospheric, Curse of Chucky is a return to form for the Child'#39;s Play series. A semi-reboot, the plot seemingly ignores some parts of the last few films but sticks to the overall continuity. Chucky reemerges once again and stalks a family with which he has a score to settle. It'#39;s pretty rote, tried-and-true horror stuff; a creepy old rundown house, heavy storms, people going missing/being murdered one by one, etc., etc. And while it'#39;s standard fare for this type of film, it works well enough in setting a mood. Additionally, the kill scenes are fairly creative and suspenseful. However, the script is poorly paced and doesn'#39;t flesh out the characters (which makes it hard for the audience to invest in them). Curse of Chucky has problems, but on the whole it delivers enough frights and scares to satisfy horror fans.

A return to horror that is pretty decent. I do kinda miss some of the humor but making Chucky scary again is better. The after credits is the best part.

'gt;*"You know, you remind me a lot of Andy Barclay. He was a whiney little bitch just like you."* That's how you do a revival properly! Return to basics with a more serious and scary tone while keeping some comedic elements from *Bride* and *Seed*. The mansion looks beautiful and the iron elevator cage is a nod to the 1988 classic. Chucky looks awful weird at first but love what they did with that later on in the movie. Nica Pierce makes for one of the best protagonists in the franchise the only ones who beat her in that regard is the legendary Andy 'amp; Kyle team up in *Child's Play 2*. The kills were all sublime and the score was especially great in this one. Elevator scene, chili scene and reveal scene in the attic are my favorites. Loved the black white yellow flashback with Charles Lee Ray. Best after-credits ever!

Neither the darker and brutal supernatural slasher of the original _Child's Play_, nor the cheesier and campy fun found in the other two "_Of Chucky_" films, so fans hoping for either one of those outcomes will be disappointed. But if you think of it as less a _Child's Play_ film, and look at it for what it really is, a straight-to-video horror, then it's.... Okay I guess? _Final rating:★★ - Had some things that appeal to me, but a poor finished product._

This was an ok movie. What happened to Tiffany and their kid. There just all of a sudden gone. They established a family in the last sequel to being non existent in this movie.
