"You couldn't be anywhere near Epstein and not know." I have to say the retelling and production quality was outstanding. I had to blink twice with Rufus Sewells make-up and acting. Billie Piper, Gillian Anderson, and Keely Hawes all captivated the perfect amount of acting, "Like a walk in the park." The genius in dialogue and dramatisation, my eyes and ears were hooked. Power in the wrong hands is pure evil, If anything is to be learnt, it's to watch who we give our power to. I do wish it had gone deeper than surface level, but the inside to key events felt good enough.

It was interesting, in my country it was not that big of a case so I was not aware of the repercussions. I liked it

I didn't like the focus on the young journalist. I didn't think she was anywhere interesting to follow her home. She started as very unlikable.

I watched this since the Jeffrey Epstein paedophile ring needs investigation and exposure. This biopic had a few bits and pieces of the story that I haven't seen pop-up on social media. However, I found it to be boring as a movie. I would love to see a movie one day about how all these high-profile paedophiles in the Epstein List were exposed, prosecuted and put in jail. That would be a way more interesting movie.

A decent kind of biopic about a famous interview by prince Andrew that almost got him to prison and brought the British royals down. A solid movie with some historic value.

Three good performances from Gillian Anderson, Billie Piper, and Rufus Sewell, especially Sewell who eerily looks like Prince Andrew. But honestly, I would say just watch the interview itself.

A very tense movie, gripping from start to finish, with a great story involving a scandal, a royal family and the backstage of a bombshell interview.

I don't know what this has been bashed so hard, this was entertaining and a lot of it seemed accurate. I wouldn't watch it again but that's how this kind of story normally sits.

I don't understand the point of making this movie. Are we supposed to be impressed by a news producer doing her job?

This film is yet another poor attempt at a Spotlight ripoff, and the primary reason it fails is that it takes itself too seriously. Unlike Spotlight, which focused on the journalism process without turning the journalists into heroes, this movie falls into the trap of hero-worship and overblown "gotcha" moments set to the backdrop of the Prince Andrew scandal. The storytelling in this movie focuses too much on elevating the journalists rather than the story they are uncovering. This approach detracts from the gravity of the subject matter and shifts the focus to the individuals rather than the issue at hand. The execution of the film is heavy-handed, with a tone that feels preachy and self-important. This undermines the potential impact of the story, as it becomes more about showcasing the journalists as crusaders rather than highlighting the importance of their findings. A more effective approach would have been to focus on the investigative process and let the story unfold naturally. By avoiding sensationalism and sticking to a realistic portrayal of journalism, the film could have achieved a more authentic and impactful narrative that could inform a mass audience. Overall, this film's attempt to spotlight journalism falls flat due to its overemphasis on heroics and dramatic flair. It misses the mark by failing to capture the essence of journalistic integrity and dedication that films like Spotlight managed so well. By focusing less on glorifying the journalists and more on the meticulous work they do, future films in this genre could avoid the pitfalls seen here and deliver more meaningful and resonant stories.
