Big Driver is a simple revenge story that is based on a novella by Stephen King. I can not compare the two, as I haven't read it but after watching this, I think it should of stuck to just being a novella. Maria Bello was not awful but she just lacked much personality, and the others do nothing with the limited screen time they have. I was hoping for the movie to get a little darker after the incident, but since it is a TV movie, I understand why it didn't. The plot twists were so predictable, I seen it coming very early on. I could have done without the whole Doreen character, she didn't add anything to the film for me. The writing was not great, felt poorly shot and lacked any intensity with a very uninspiring story. Overall, this was a very boring film where nothing exciting happened. 3/10

A disaster, a terrible bad movie. One of the worst King adaptations. No twists, no mystery, a stupid story. Good point : the movie is only 1h20'#39; long.

well.... for a stephen king film its good - but just because its a thriller and not a horror-movie. kings horror-storys are mutch difficulter to put on screen. i like maria bello a lot (beautiful woman - but.. is it only me? she gets raped in every second movie i know :|) - but the story is very flat. its ok for a saturday evening when its raining outside. you can watch it, but no need to collect it.
