I felt that this was a pretty good show. I don't want Kdramas, because they remind me of the shows from India (my nationality) that are always over the top and unrealistic. I watched this after watching ep3 when my sister was watching it in the living room. What initially made me interested was the lawyer part of the show and the seemingly realistic portrayal of autism, especially in episode 3. I'm a psych major and so I felt that the show was doing a good job of expressing autism to the audience, especially in Korea where I am aware that it's not as respected or understood by their society. The show did have the Kdrama feel here and there especially with the characters Jun-ho and Min-woo. In addition, the law part of the lawyer show was sort of obvious, as in there where times where I could probably say what was wrong in the case before Young-woo did. Whatever, I found it enjoyable to see her shine. I really appreciate the main actress in portraying the character with such realness, to the point where I was frequently impressed with her transformation into the character. The stories in the episodes were also pretty good as they were clearly there to have the audience's morals questioned on topics like N. Korean defectors and the LGBT community. To American audiences, perhaps these seem trivial but I have a feeling that to Korean viewers, there were a few topics in this season that got some exposure that they don't usually get. Regardless, here I am after watching my first Kdrama lol. Can't say I'm too unhappy with it - I'll be back for season 2.
