> Among the Plethora of High School Drama this is a gem

Much like Extracurricular ; one of my fav ; this is Dark and emotional . Su-Ho and Si-eun ; infact Bum Seok to some extent ; the friendship, struggles and the fights were done so well !!

I thought the show peaked in the middle ; but the ending was done well as well ; Si-eun grew through the story .. building friendships ; showing sadness and enjoying good moments ; Si-eun made him human not just a cram school bot!! I don't usually go to action flicks for character studies and heartbreaking emotions but the cast delivered on both and on stellar fight sequences that hurt just to watch.

Park Jihoon acting as Yeon Sieun was amazing. In the story put to screen it would've been very easy for Sieun to be one note, but Jihoons acting and eyes brought him to life. Compared to his roles in "At Distance Spring is Green" and "Love Revolution" this character is polar opposite almost cant believe same person has done these three roles !! He is going to be in my watchlist for any new dramas kids got superb talent.

Hong Kyung gave me the most compelling performance of the entire year. You have to watch it to know.

Choi Hyunwook ; much like in 2521; brought a lovely levity to the story and his well-known ability to charm his way through the screen is at full display.
The entire supporting cast really showed out for this drama, the viciousness and vulnerability of boyhood were on full display. Special shoutout to Kim Sugyeom whose venom playing Youngbin almost burned through the screen

This easily falls into the top 5 dramas of the year for me. I would recommend any day! This weekend 1 started 4 dramas ; 2 dropped on first episode but i manged to complete this masterpiece.
