this is genuinley one of my favorite shows :") it feels so sweet and genuine. sure it can be a bit trope-ey at times but really its not too bad. I wish it hadnt been cancelled because i really enjoy the filler episodes. Perhaps this will sound incredibly cheesy but a show like this that is so hopeful makes me feel comforted. This world is a dumpsterfire but we have to perservere!! we have to keep going and remain hopeful!! also i wanna throw in: as a neurodivergient person i feel very seen by wander. It probably wasnt intentional but he feels very audhd/ocd coded to me and I like him even more for that reason, I see myself in him but even when its used as a punchline its not nessecarily mean spirited? idk how to articulate my thoughts on this particular aspect of the show but I really saw myself in him. Another thing i wanted to note: though the creator has since confirmed a few of the characters (specificially wander and lord dominator) are queer, i absolutely LOVE how all of the characters are queer coded to some extent. its just such a fun stylistic show that is CRIMINALLY underrated. this was probably all very discombobulated but. whatever.
