Total Drama Island focuses on twenty-two teenagers' arrival at Camp Wawanakwa to compete on a reality television show. The contestants are divided into two teams and must compete in challenges every three days. While the winning team earns invincibility, the losing team has to vote off one of their own players. Whoever is voted off must walk the Dock of Shame to the Boat of Losers and leave the island. The teams eventually dissolve and the elimination process continues until the last contestant standing wins a grand prize of $100,000.

started off so fun and entertaining but it lost me around episode 20. this was just too long,,, which is actually pretty on par with my usual feelings about actual reality television so ig they hit the nail on the head? love it for everyone who loves it but I probably won't continue with the franchise and that's okay.

A pretty poor parody of reality television shows. Lots of cliche characters and predictable story arcs, and the humor is really just not there for me. The animation isn't very good, and it just feels like something straight out of the 2000s in the worst of ways. (=) Okay first season with a few moments of fun and comedy (-) Poor animation style that feels very jerky and weird (-) Predictable plot (-) Cliche characters that don't have a lot of depth
