Pebbles believes it was stolen by her neighbor the creepy Mrs. Gruesome, so she offers to babysit for the Gruesomes so that the kids can infiltrate the Gruesome mansion and search for the gift. Thinking that Mrs. Gruesome may have the gift with her, the gang then crashes a Gruesome family reunion, and Bamm-Bamm is mistaken for a cat burglar.

The gang and their parents take over and run the city while Pebbles tries to get the workers back by throwing a picnic.

Fred and Barney create a super-secret fuel that is supposed to be tested for Gettystone Oil in the Bedrock Grand Prix. Pebbles accidentally gives the fuel and the formula to the junkman and must find a way to retrieve it before the race. In doing so, the kids find a flaw in the formula and work to correct it. A series of mishaps leaves Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm substituting for their fathers in the race.
