Every single episode:

Velma/Teddi: Hey Colter, we got a new one for you. Reward is something of tens of thousands and it's in Generic City.
Colter: Oh, Generic City? It's only 122,30 miles from me and I'll be there in 58min and 29 seconds.
Parent/Spouse/Friend/Offspring: I know Grandma was a hardcore porn addicted, but it's not like her to go missing. IT'S NOT LIKE HER.
Local police: Yeah, grandma was bat shit cray cray no worth looking any further. And get out of my city. And checking John Doe is a waste of time.
Colter: Hey John Doe, where is grandma?
John Doe: I told the cops we were dating, they didn't listen. Must have been something to do with her cock fight betting. Me and granny were in love.
Cock fight Ring Leader: Yeah, bitch owed me a couple grand, so I made her cook me chicken soup until her debt was paid. You'll never find her.
(some 15 mins of Fights, lurking, gun tossing, calls to local police, Reenie, Bobby, Tedi, Velma and Scooby Doo)
Grandma: Who are you?
Colter: Hi, Grandma, your _____ hired me to find you. You're safe now. Let's go.
Grandma: They'll never let me leave.
Colter: Follow my lead as I used to do with my dad when he showed me how to survive in the woods.
Local police: Yeah, it was good working together. You shared a lot about your dad, hope you find more, since the audience hasn't had an update since the 1st episode.
Grandma (at home): Thanks for saving me.
Colter: You should thank the person who was looking for you. (that is by far my favorite lol).
Person who hired him: (slides check like all their money isn't gone and they will eat nothing but roaches for about 2 years before recovering financially) Thank you so much.
Anybody: hey let's do something.
Colter: Nah, I don't socialize and need to brood about my dad's death, while I do jack shit to solve it.

This show will not end up in your top 10 shows of the year, in fact you will probably forget about it once you have watched it but it's the type of show I put in the very easy to watch bucket. It's not complex or challenging, it doesn't make you think or struggle to follow. It's very simple and easy to watch.

It's the type of show that's akin to Law and Order or those crime procedurals, sets up a very simple problem with a couple of extra bits of information, often very predictable and ends with the good guys winning and the bad guys losing. A show that you can walk away from in the middle while making dinner or cleaning and you will not miss much, or if you do it will only take you 30 seconds to catch up.

I normally do watch a heap of the more complex and challenging shows, high concept sci-fi's and heavy dramas, but I normally offset those with either a fun light comedy or a show like this for when I've had a day where I just want to switch the brain off.

Not going to win any awards, or be in any top 10 lists at the end of the year, but I think there is still a spot for shows like this, at least in my rotation.

Tracker see's a lone wolf style character, track people who have gone astray.

Influences of series like Reacher are evident, with a quiet independent, lone wolf, tough guy, who find and rescue the misguided and the vulnerable. That said, this series lead character is somewhat less selfless than Reacher, as the tracker extracts a finders fee, upon success.

What helps this series rise above the array of very similar offerings is the above average character development. The main character fits the dependable, tough guy stereotype but has enough personal charm and a back story, with enough originality and complexity, to be genuinely interesting and intriguing.

Each episode offers a new tale and a back story that slowly unwinds as the series progresses. In and of themselves the episodic stories as not overly original but well rendered enough, to keep you watching.

As you also might expect too, there's a dash of the usual work twaddle but thankfully, its dialled down enough, to not be overly irritating.

In summary, a worthwhile action thriller series that offers decent character development, an interesting back story and competent episodic adventures, that draw on the "trackers", rather unique set of skills.
