Really sad to see this show go after only one season, it truly was one of my favorite shows this past season. If u haven't watched it yet, even though it was only a one season show - still totally worth watching & getting into, u won't be disappointed. I really fell in love with each of those characters & the cast members who played them.

For me being over 40, born in the 70's, this was an era I didn't know much about. I feel like lately, everything we have been seeing on TV NOW in 2015, or especially in the theatres, has been done to death! EVERYTHING I grew up with as a child of 80's & 90's culture, I seen at the movies or heard on the radio or wore as a kid, is all being re-made & re-branded for this generation of kids - MY KIDS. I feel like today's TV, & Movies, & clothes, r my youth on repeat, nothing is new OR original feeling anymore.

10 years ago everything that was popular (which felt a little more new to me, as I was too young to remember the originals) was the 70's re-branded. That being said, seeing this show, with the much earlier, 40s thru 60's style & vibe, felt brand new to me. Not only because there has been very little of this period portrayed in entertainment for a very long time, long enough that most ppl in their 40's or under would also not be familiar with it. But also, I found it was interesting to see what the past was like for my parents generation. Not to mention, there has been very little else on TV or in the theatres like it, so I could just enjoy it w/out comparing to every other show or movie I have seen recently, feeling like I am just watching the same thing being re-done again & again. I was not familiar w/the era so things still felt new & surprising like seeing it for the very 1st time w/out guessing what happened next in every characters relationship or storyline. I did not live in times like these, I have not seen ppl behave as they did back then, so it was nice NOT to know what to expect out of each characters behavior.
