**There is a fire in the space**, and "The Mandalorian" is on the other hand from the same studios.
How the hack is someone letting that kind of bullshit series to be canon in the same universe as The Mandalorian? Just let it die.
And. **Who the fuck is Leslye Headland** and how could you give a random people to direct a Star Wars show?

@cihacoba You'll have to ask Kathleen Kennedy to find out why she's purposefully sabotaging this franchise with her blatant misandry and silly tropes that are so on the nose, it's caricatural and not in a funny way. It looks like they don't give a flying rat's a** which is probably why they're hiring dime store writers who couldn't come up with a good script for a 30 second commercial let alone for a tv series, as Leslye Headland is just the edgy flavor of the month at the House Of Mouse.

@habilio1 I completely disagree. Star Trek Discovery just has a different target demographic (not me). This show is just straight up bad.

Agenda driven and boring. Disney has been slowly killing Star Wars since acquiring it, this is one of, if not the, final nail. Perhaps it will find an audience, but so far Disney has been failing pretty hard so I doubt it.

@avg14 The Wokelyte is yet another power fantasy in which a small girl beats up a group of large men. Inclusivity is shoved down our throats as there are no white males. The director’s sexuality seems to be far more important than minor details shuch as script, acting or being even Star Wars.

So far so good, after 2 episodes. A solid plot, likeable characters, a mysterious mastermind and yay a Wookie! 7.5/10 to be updated as the series progresses. Oh, and a big FU to the morons who submitted ratings months before the series was released.

@baroines The simple and expected answer is that Disney is perpetuating the racist idea that it is natural for a black person to attack mindlessly. For a more realistic and nuanced understanding, I recommend watching the entire show instead of judging it based solely on initial impressions.

This feels like a poor job with a limited budget, the writing feels just off, character lines don’t fit and are delivered poorly, the final edit and transitions they may use some borrowed from star wars but just feel out of place.

The camera shots and direction just don’t feel like the best, more like someone that just finished school. Very amateur.

In all honesty the fight scenes feel more like wire fu meets the force stuck in a poorly choreograph and camera position and cropped too close to actors.

The actress that plays Vernestra Rwoh is a bad fit and poorly delivered lines, timing and her acting feel very amateurish and doesn’t belong is the position she has within this franchise.

It surly does not feel that the showrunners/director/screen writers know the lore/history or really are not fans of this universe as it shows on screen.

not worth finishing the season or series as this shouldn’t be cannon.

Also to note set 100years before where is Yoda? This could have been a great fan fave brought back considering the timeline.

I've never seen a piece of media that is more focused on inclusivity over worldbuilding, compelling characters and a coherent script. This is the killing stroke to the legacy of George Lucas and the fact that "fans" are blindly 9-10 voting this series shows that there is a very dumb and loud minority of people that don't know good vs. bad. DAH SHOW ME THA LIGHTSABER AND I WILL LOVE IT DAH. It's embarrassing stockholm syndrome mentality, and we deserve better than this. Steal this off the internet before hatewatching it, don't give Disney your money or viewership and for god sakes...spread the word.

Dear lord , this show looks like it's not a Star Wara IP. It's almost like a fan made show - that's how bad the acting , direction , screenplay is.

Even the sets they've used look so cheap and artificial.

I don't even know how this show got greenlit in the first place.

A Star Wars show without the wars where it’s not about good vs evil but frozen meets kill bill. WTF does that mean? This show has all the hallmarks of just another vanity project from a narcissistic writer who can’t see past their own reflection and identity who has limited creative imagination. These are the people in charge of Star Wars now and it’s not ever going to change. Time to put the Star Wars, fans used to know, to rest and accept the turd dropped by Disney and their push to make modern audience feel good about themselves instead of you know “entertainment and imagination”.

@whos_ur_buddha Please remove your rating. You have rated this a 1/10 - which means you think this is the worst thing you have _ever watched_, even though it sounds like you will never actually watch it - two months before the show has aired. You're messing this site up for the rest of us. <br /> <br /> Also, just because your profile is set to hidden, doesn't mean we can't find all of your previous reviews. A simple `site:trakt.tv whos_ur_buddha` reveals all. Some... interesting... takes, especially when it comes to women. I give it a 1/10.

@whos_ur_buddha I certainly don't believe that you have to watch every second of every episode to be able to offer thoughts on the entire show. I don't know at what point is appropriate, but it's certainly not after watching the fucking trailer. What a dipshit.<br /> <br /> I'm not really mad at you, it's Trakt. They should know that crowdsourcing features will only be as good as the crowd they source.

As much as I enjoyed 'Ahsoka' continuing 'Rebels', it's wildly refreshing to watch something original in the Star Wars universe. Just two episodes in and we have realized characters and motivations and enough intrigue to make this one of, if not the best premiers Disney has put out since 'Wandavision'.

Nope. I will be boycotting this one, and while I agree with those who speak critically of the relentless and vocal promotion of liberal and woke agendas being done by its creative types and cast members, that is not my primary reason. What floored me was when I learned that showrunner and EP Headland (a) spent six years at Miramax at the start of her career and (b) was Harvey Weinstein's personal assistant FOR A YEAR during that time and yet (c) somehow remained blissfully (and conveniently) ignorant of his actions and overall scumminess. That is simply unbelievable, and that particular revelation would have been the end of her entertainment career if it had been up to me, and I am certainly not going to support her now. Disney continues to disappoint me in so many ways, and this is just the latest example of it.
