This show manipulated me into liking it, just like Stephen does with everyone.

It's kinda bad, but also it's so addictive.

All of them are so fucking toxic. Also, they all look so old. They can't fool anyone that they are 19-21. And btw I hate every single character. All of them are so dumb. When you think one of them is an ok person, you watch the second season and you see how dumb they can be. The erotic scenes are nothing special tbh.

I think Lucy is the worst of them all. You know why? Let's say it together: because she thinks she's a good person but she's just as bad as everyone else.

If Tell Me Lies is renewed for a third season, it's likely to premiere in fall 2026. Hulu has not yet confirmed a renewal, but it seems likely given the show's popularity and cliffhangers at the end of season 2

This show is the type of interesting and entertaining in the same way that I imagine 50 Shades of Grey to be.
It is engaging until the 'mystery' is revealed, something about the pacing of those last two episodes is very off. Why anyone wants to be near Stephen the biggest mystery to me and speaking of there is a special place in hell for him. Bree is an angel and the greatest person in this show
[Disney+] One of the many substitutes for "Euphoria" (HBO, 2019) that develops a toxic relationship, but through bland and uninteresting characters. Perhaps because it is a Hulu/Disney production, the eroticism is flat and hardly daring, and the conception of personal relationships is conservative and sexist. The incorporation of a mystery tries to maintain interest, but is lost in a version of the youth drama that is childish, while the rest of the subplots do not manage to feed the main story, but are unattractive and extend a series that it is lengthened unnecessarily.

The relationship between the 2 lead characters is good, the surrounding story environment is not.

The writers make every single thing that happens feel like it's equal weight. If the main issue is the relationship, then that should be the main dramatic issue. Other things need to be treated more as side points, but aren't.

Therefore, I skip everything else and only watch the main couple relationship.

They put a lot of effort into making the sex having seem realistic and detailed.

Sinister undertone makes you think it will be more mysterious. Some mystery so far. Curious about the main female character and how that develops. Interesting how she keeps dealing with so much social pressure to be ‘nice’ and not a ‘sociopath’ wonder how that plays out. Also why does she care what people think of her if she’s so unfeeling?
