This show could be 2 hour movie. The story is stretched in 8 episodes. The pacing is slow for me. To be honest I managed just because of the lead actress. She is beautiful. The story is kind of OK, but could be better imo.
This was an interesting story concept, and I have high hopes, but I think some of the cultural differences between this foreign-made series, and my American sensibilities were too great to bridge. It’s a solid story about mythological snake people, and Iranian history and myth, mixed with drama, love, and a little bit of intrigue.
Reminded me of Twilight, but in a completely Turkish context. Not bad at all. Inspired me to grow my curls out 😂
