Predictable crime solving aside, Rizzoli And Isles is axed towards friendship and family. The chemistry between Sasha and Angie is palpable, some scenes are very funny, especially the Rizzoli clan ones. There's a distinct feminine feeling to the whole show, be it in writing, scripting, directing and acting.

I always love crime series and I've seen quite a lot. This one is difference because of the amazing chemistry between the characters. I love how this goes past just solving crimes.

After watching the first episode of Rizzoli & Isles I was more than satisfied .. I've wanted to see Sasha Alexander and Angie Harmon back on my t.v screen ever since Sasha left N.C.I.S and Women's Murder Club got canceled. Sasha is supposed to act the way she acts in the t.v show it is in no way bad acting she's supposed to be a bid like Brennan from Bones who's a bit detached from her emotions to say the least. People are comparing Rizzoli & Isles to Bones and it's because they have a lot in common though Rizzoli & Isles had a much better first episode than Bones did and just because this show isn't one of HBO's productions and doesn't have people fornicating on every corner doesn't make it bad. It's just something you can watch with your kids or maybe even brother or sister without feeling awkward because of what's happening on the screen and actually enjoying a show. I definitely recommend this.

Own Complete Series (Season 1 to 7)

I've watched episodes of this on and off over the years, and have always wanted to catch up with it from the beginning, so, in this, it's last season, I'm going to celebrate the series by doing just that, over the next few days. Based on what I've seen over the years and with the first two episodes of season one under my belt I give it a 7 (good) out of 10. I love that it is a buddy show, and the humour that comes from the two, almost archetypally drawn, diverse, characters interacting from their unique points of view, with properly menacing drama balancing it out. And, although I don't believe in reincarnation, if I did, I'd want to come back looking like Angie Harmon - just saying.

Everything I like about the show has been said by others but overall great acting, clean family friendly show, feminine chemistry/friendship, family, cop drama etc written very well. I watched on and off for years, then watched 1 to 7 just as the last season was aired. I still miss it. B* Very few strong lead female cop shows exist and this one is hard to beat as it set the standard high for future femcop detective I'm e* in tvshows. I tgink a few movies tried it & even a tvshow with Jessica Alba (forgot the name) but when I watched it with JA the acting was decent but the story quality & production value, chemistry felt subpar in comaparison to predeccessor Rix* Rizzoli & Isles. I'm ranting because I miss this show. I will rewatch & buy on DVD. My kids will watch this show someday.
