starts out as 8/10 then the police is like, [spoiler] '#34;look this woman'#39;s wearing slippers outside NO INNOCENT WOMAN WOULD WEAR SLIPPERS OUTSIDE that'#39;s outrageous, i suspect... MURDER!'#34; [/spoiler] so it quickly goes down to 6/10 then the finale... i gave it 5 out of 10 for the landscapes.

after seeing the episode 2 : no. it´s not the '#34;new'#34; Broadchurch. Not even close.

Another great series by Harry Williams and Jack Williams. John Lynch delivers a superb performance as Bill Douglas, as does Juliet Stevenson as Louise Elliot.

I didn'#39;t think much of this when I watched the trailer. And I still wasn'#39;t really sure what to think of it when I watched the first episode. But it turned out so amazing. Definitely recommend watching it.

This is a decent murder mystery family drama. It's actually mostly focused on that family grief drama, and while it's decently executed overall and quite good in parts, it actually isn't the best part of the show. The best part is the mystery around the murder, when it's focused on. The side plots feel too tangential to the main story. They're ok, but they feel unncessary, and there's not enough episodes to let them breathe properly.
