This is one hell of a serie and Tobias Menzies plays such a role...that sixth episode... god! so good!

I started to read the books after the first part of the season, because I was so desperate to know how the story would continue...I didn't have any expectations of the book quality, but I was surprise to learn how extraordinary it is :P I'm really enjoying Gabaldon's writting and I think it's amazing how she's manage to give the book a historical accuracy.

Not awful, not great -- would've been better to open with 2 episodes than just the pilot. Has potential.

After watching 10 episodes I'm convinced that this series are actually a form of torture invented by 15 year-olds in wattpad

I'm in S1 E13 and up until now, it was nothing but troubles after troubles. and franky, not very exciting ones for me to follow. No clear story line to tells that this show is actually going somewhere. I may drop it :(

my top still running show, why? has everything politics, sci-fi, Fantasy, romance and real historical events that's what makes outlander an excellent tv series with astonishing writing.
there is no television series that can mix all these categories and make them more realistic like outlander.

Starts out as a high quality romantic adventure show, slowly degenerates into soft core porn, then into torture porn, then gay torture porn, and that's when I stopped watching

@seanmsu  , I felt the same way too at first. I forget when, but at some point the porn scenes become less and less frequent.

This book series, by Diana Gabaldon, was a guilty pleasure for me (salacious content, yet compelling storytelling), and, now, I'm a faithful follower of the TV Series. The show runner is Ronald D. Moore who brought us BATTLESHIP GALACTICA. Each season pulls from a corresponding book in the OUTLANDER series. Everyone held their breath until the casting was completed, the characters have a huge fan base, but Catriona Balfe and Sam Heughan have captured the essence of Claire and Jamie, while Tobias Menzies has straddled the complex challenge of a dual role like a titan, one man loving and mild mannered the other man evil incarnate. Book 3 has begun broadcasting (W Network in Canada, a Starz Original Production), so it's an excellent time to watch/rewatch the first two seasons. I give this series a 10 (personal favourite) out of 10. [Drama, Adventure, Fantasy, Romance].

Very boring series where in half of the episodes nothing happens and in the other half is all flasbacks. For a series about someone going back in time, telling stories in flashback is a redundancy.

It’s such a great serie and cast. But the rape scenes are too much. They could have added less

I loved the books long before the series and was fine with the initial casting, but good God... a few seasons later and I am *still* not over the actress choice made for Brianna.... she's atrocious, to the point that I want to fast forward through any scenes she's in! Season 5 is fairly Bri/Roger heavy and I just want them to go back to the future already so I don't have to watch her anymore!!!
