Ouran High is a school for the extremely wealthy or, in Haruhi's case, the extremely talented. But no amount of talent will help when Haruhi accidentally drops an eight million yen vase in a music room. The vase was the property of Ouran High School Host Club, a group of attractive young men who, for a fee, provide their time and affections for their lovesick clientele: the female students. Fascinated by this strange new specimen, a poor and clumsy commoner, they force Haruhi to work for them until the debt is repaid; but they get a lot more than they bargained for...

This is probably one of the funniest and most heartfelt animes out there. This is a great reverse harem show and you literally fall in love with almost every single character. They start out as your basic stereotypes but everyone has an amazing backstory that is expanded upon. Also, Haruhi is the best.

Honestly it was a little boring. It was a Shoujo but there were only one or two little romantic hugs, and that's all. The beginning was the worst but it gradually became a little interesting although most of the anime felt like the same thing watching again and again. The last two episodes were the best parts but then the show ended. There were sarcastic comedy scenes which were the best thing in this show. The worst part was that in spite of being a Shoujo it was unrealistic.

This anime is a classic of it's era. I first saw Ouran more than a decade ago as a young kid and, in immediate hindsight, oh, god, _why_, but re-watching it as an adult has brought me so much insight. OHSHC is off-the-wall _goofy_, and at least for the first fourth or third of the show, questionably creepy. Follow through this series and you'll understand why each character is the way they are and how they are self-aware of their taboos, how they all are just a genuine band of friends trying to make the world a better place and the people they encounter happy. ...Not to say that this anime is that deep, although the lessons can be wholesome. It's a cute one if you let it be. You will fall in love with all of the characters, they're all extremely memorable.

First few episodes were a bit rough, but it picked up and became surprisingly heartfelt. It felt like it ended when it was just finding its groove! Very goofy and fluffy, I would recommend but probably only for people who are already fans of the genre and don't mind it's incomplete. It was my first shoujo anime and it really surprised me by the end.
