Reading both the synopsis of this show on Netflix and here, they don’t do justice as to what this show is really about.

So let me try and do a quick recap of the first episode, and what this show is about without spoiling too much.

We start off with the lead character Yoo Tan, the leader of an indie band named ‘One More Time.’ They’ve been together for years and besides Tan, the band consists of his two friends (later Da-In joins after her and Tan get together). One night while they are playing in a club, Tan’s girlfriend Da-In is in the crowd watching. He takes that chance to confess his undying love for her and the promise of forever.

Fast forward to 7 years later, we are again introduced to Tan. Let’s just say life has had its major downs and they have taken their toll on him, resulting in him being a Scrooge. And no, I’m not lying when I say he’s just terrible to everyone, thinks only of himself, etc. But alas, his luck seems to change when he receives a phone call from the director of KG Entertainment. Thankfully, Tan proved everyone wrong as to how bad of a person he is by turning down the offer to join the entertainment group when their conditions were presented: only Tan was allowed to join the company, and he had to break up with his girlfriend.

However as the day progresses, Tan does end up taking the offer from KG Entertainment when he sees that nothing in his life is going how he wants it to. And despite refusing before, Tan disbands the group and breaks up with Da-In....resulting in him being the jerk we all thought he was. Not even an hour later, to celebrate the “turning point” in his life, Tan goes to a party and gets drunk.

As he exits the party, to the side of him, Tan spots a river(?) where Da-In and him shared a fond memory. Angry, he throws his cellphone in, leading to him also falling in. As he drowns, a little girl dressed in red walks across the surface of the water up to Tan. She lights a match and the screen shifts from her to Tan sinking into the water as his eyes close.

Surprise, surprise! It’s October 4th again! Tan wakes up in his room thinking everything was just a dream until the certain events started to unfold exactly how he “dreamt” them. To say the least, it was funny seeing him freak out as he keeps reliving the same day again. But to move along, after receiving some advice from his father, Tan starts to live the same day how he’d like to.
But while Tan is enjoying his life, by the end of each day Da-In dies as a result of their love having dwindled.
Pros....
- :asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:The music:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:
- :asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:Different camera angles:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:
For example, to show that Tan is drunk, they filmed the scene as if the actor was holding a selfie stick. Resulting in the shot to be focused on the actor but the surroundings to be disorienting as he kept moving around.
- :asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:Casting of the actors and their acting:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:
That’s to say that all the actors gave it their all with it came to displaying emotion for one. (I was surprised how genuine all the crying scenes felt.) And regarding the casting, this goes along with the acting of the characters. Nothing felt awkward or strange between the other actors. And they all fit their roles, one being Tan’s father off the top of my head (besides the main actors).
- :asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:The story didn’t focus too long on just one part or one actor.:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:
If you would watch the show, you’d understand what I mean so I won’t reveal too much. But the most I can say is the first third of the show is about Tan. The second third is about Da-In and how her and Tan came to be. While the end of the show is....a surprise :x
- :asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:The ending:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:
Let’s say that it ends in a twist. Anything more than that would actually be spoiling the ending so I won’t say anymore.

Cons...
_Believe it or not, but I don’t really have any cons xD_
- :asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:Watch the volume when wearing headphones:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:
This is basically the only thing I’ll say just to put something here. So it’s more of a caution for when the actors scream....but then again I had my volume loud while wearing headphones :sweat_smile:.
