I love a lot of panel shows, and I mean a lot, but Buzzcocks is by far my favourite. For me Simon Amstells run as host is unmatched however I do think Mark was also a great host. However when the series started rotating guest posts while it’s still provided some memorable moments, I feel this is where it started to go downhill and had perhaps run its course and as much as I love Rod Gilbert I feel he was the weakest of the host and by this point the show was ready for an end. As one of the original panel shows What made Buzzcocks great was the fact that it was always able to take the piss out of itself and especially out of its guests and the world of music in general from Britney Spears to Marilyn Manson no one was safe and I can always without fail know that I can stick it on an episode of Buzzcocks even if I’ve seen it 1000 times already and still laugh my ass off brilliant show, brilliant cast, just don’t upset [spoiler]Preston[/spoiler]!
