Moonrise

Missed opportunity. Overall the show was good, but it could have been so much better. The animation, fights, the basic premise, the character development were all top notch. It lacked a continuous narrative that was spotted with deliberate miscommunication forcing the "mystery" to continue until the last episode which was entirely rushed leaving a bare bones explanations. Which is a shame, because had it delved into the conflicts between the antagonists a little more subtly it could have expanded the story giving more reasons to care. As it was, there was too much left out and assumptions had to be made as to the why's and how's. Definitely worth a watch, It's a complete story, but I think you'll feel a little let down after it's all over, not because it the story isn't satisfying or incomplete but that you didn't get just a bit more.
