Billionaires...their lives are so much more complicated than those of the unwashed masses, aren’t they? At least that’s what show creators wants to convey to us, via shows like Succession & Yellowstone that show families at each others’ throats in order to get to the top of the money pile. Now, there’s a Mexican take on this genre, Monarca.

A family business where the siblings feud, collude and essentially fight for control of their Hotel and Tequila biz.

This is your typical "Dynasty" type series but done Telenovela style (not that I know what Telenovela style is since I'm not Spanish but have seen a bunch of stuff).

The show is essentially soap opera. There is so much drama in every episode.

I would say if you want Succession with over dramatization & soap opera taken to a whole new level, this is your show. If you are expecting a work of art that tells a great story, stay away.
