I dont even know if it deserves 5/10.
I loved the first season, but then you could see the writers just keep putting in total bs in the plot trying to connect dots and throwing in some myths from thousands of years ago.
The show has “Lost” vibes, but it is just “meh”.

The characters make so dumb decisions like they are born yesterday. A detective who is being praised as a good cop makes careless mistakes all the time. I mean come on, even a child would do better than her, like 10 times better.
The acting is bad, mostly. The main character Ben always trashes places, goes in alone against the world…the dude needs to be put in a mental hospital.
I dont want put in spoilers in this review, but the character Angelina makes this science fiction total bs, very extreme.

The whole show is just for you to waste your time watching some stupid science fiction and being nostalgic about Lost. That’s the whole reason I made the decision to see it till the end.

No need for a season 5. It was reasonable to be canceled. I can bet everyone who seen it can guess what will happen in Season 5. I mean they could have ended it with an extra episode but they asked for a Season 5. Ughhh. What else do they want to show us?

Lots of stuff doesn’t make sense too.

My
god (pun not intended)
that got shoehorned in so badly.
If I wanted bad fanfic about Christianity, I'd get on AO3.
They took a relatively good concept, but it seems to me that they wrote themselves into a corner they couldn't escape via other means than
a perpetual _deus ex machina_
.

Unfortunately the worsened writing is not being redeemed by better acting, pleasant soundtrack or captivating sub plot arcs. If you want to watch it, *don't continue reading*.
The characters have gotten hit on the head way too many times during the past few seasons and their IQ loss is noticeable and painful to watch. Their intelligence is not the only thing that has been impacted though, they have increasingly terrible emotional and exocrine system. The main characters are constantly stupid, overly emotional and wet (I wish I were kidding about the last part).
All that is followed by reoccuring characters (who weren't passengers) repeatedly witnessing miracles and *still* not believing what's going on, thus becoming hindrances at the most ridiculous and idiotic moments. Exacerbated by the absolute inability to communicate properly, my F\*\*\*\*\*G god. The overuse of certain tropes makes them intolerable, especially when accompanied by the noticeably repetitive and **b\*\*\*h-a\*s plot-spoiling soundtrack**. All that unfortunately makes most sub-plot much more worse than what you can find in amateur-written fiction.
If you want a sci-fi about some bigger coordinated plan then Travellers is much better, if you want time-travel there's an even bigger selection, if you want mystery Lost is there. This... is not worth it.

Wow, what a trainwreck. Didn't even realize this should have been NBC's next "big one", before reading some comments and reviews. At first I thought they might be cross-promoting something from Comcast's basic cable channels, like USA. But no, those shows tend to have far better casting and acting; and partially even writing. But good news for all Millennials: now you can join the NYPD, even if you're unqualified and unmotivated. My highlight is Daryl Edwards' portrayal of the smirky, resignated actor - um, sorry meant to write NSA Director - who perfectly delivers a very deep message in each scene, without even speaking: "Oh man, in what kind of a silly production have I ended up? I _really_ need to speak with my agent... or consider a new representation. No, Daryl, no, don't start laughing hysterically mid-scene, 13 episodes still pay the mortgage, with a back-nine, you're really good."

In fact, this might be the single most important aspect of the whole production: Crew & Cast will make a few bucks off, of it. Otherwise it's extremely unoriginal, dull, generally very slow paced (don't explain intention before and after each scene), and almost painfully boring, thanks to acting and writing (sorry, you _can't_ fix "everything" in post-production). Good luck, folks

An interesting premise. Plane takes off and lands 5.5 years later, but to the passengers it seems like they didn't feel it pass. The whole world has moved on and now that they're back, everybody wants a piece of them.

It's the usual stuff: relationships destroyed, people passed away, cults, visions, etc. That's all to be expected and the realistic part of it.

What made me stop watching were the plot devices: unsaid words and incomplete sentences, obvious lies to one another, secrets made that can't be kept, giving into "fate", etc.
To top things off the repetitive overuse of the christian god to explain, judge or support actions.

The actors aren't bad and can convey some emotions pretty well, but they could really do without all the obvious plot devices.
