obsessed. absolutely obsessed. 10/10. this is the first time in any type of media I've consumed where I genuinely loved every part of the love triangle. both guys were so good and sweet and it genuinely felt like a realistic situation, not one created for drama. irl there usually isn't the one true person for you; instead you'll meet people, you like them, they like you back and then you move forward together, exploring and redefining your dynamic. and sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. that doesn't mean the people who didn't work out with us are bad people; it's just life. I love how that was portrayed in here. I also love the supportive straight best friend trope in general and the way it was executed here was just perfection?? AND I love Lee Sohee so much. so many bl's go the route of making the girl who's in love with one of the main couple guys a real antagonist or, even worse, turn her into the crazy psycho woman stereotype. this show doesn't do that. Lee Sohee gets jealous, yes, and she gets mean and she makes big serious mistakes. but she's never painted as the devil personified for it and I appreciate it. there are consequences to her actions but she is also offered a way to forgiveness. the characters in this show are just people; nobody is a stereotype or treated as disposable. and again, the way this show treated Lee Sohee as a character is maybe my favourite thing. I'm sure I'm not alone in this, as a queer guy, girls and women in my life have always been the core of my support system, so the way many gay movies and shows (in general) treat their female characters as obstacles or psychos has always bothered me. I'm so happy to have found this series where the girl is allowed to be imperfect and real without being the villain. love, love, love this show for everything. and I haven't even touched on the wholesome teacher-student dynamics or the theme of growth and self-love. but I don't want to write an even longer essay; I'd rather go rewatch my new favourite show. and you guys should too
