Even though I'm not into femdom stuff this was still a lot entertaining. Although to show the strong character of Shikimori, they made Izumi's character a little too submissive to the point that it became unnatural. The best part of the show would be the ending video theme with it's retro game like feel.

izumi is a shojo heroine and i identify with him 😸 the show itself is alright, with stronger episodes towards the end of the season. i've seen much better romcom anime, and much worse romcom anime.

Shikimori is amazing. The MC gets a lot of criticism for being boring, which is completely fair. However, this anime made me smile a lot, it was wholesome, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. These things mostly make up for a plot that doesn't really go anywhere

This is a show where instead of the boyfriend being the brave one, it's the girlfriend who is the main hero. This show does well in making it as such, however, it went a bit too far, making it feel unnatural. [spoiler]And the episode finale was rather disappointing.[/spoiler] In all, this is an ok show for people who want a change of pace and want to try out femdom stuff
