Just Between Lovers

It was good, but felt a little too long for me. It was a very slow paced story, which allowed plenty of time for character development and the natural growth of the relationship between the main leads, but some unnecessary side plots (like Director Jung's emotional affair with the madam) felt wholly unnecessary and like they didn't add anything at all to the main story. I don't know that giving virtually all important characters some type of romantic storyline, either good or bad, was needed. The heart of this drama was the shared trauma between Moon Su and Gang Du and how through a very rocky path, apart and then together they managed to comfort and heal each other. Everything else around them that didn't relate to the accident and general aftermath was filler and white noise to pad the run time. Still, if you like mellow and understated love stories that build slowly and inconspicuously into an deeply emotional romance, I think you'll enjoy this one. Maybe don't binge it, though.

A lot more realistic than a lot of other dramas. It really pulls on your heartstrings, that's for sure. I think I would even recommend it to people who normally don't like kdramas.
