Overview
Inspired by the original novella by Robert Louis Stevenson, Jekyll and Hyde is set in 1930s London and follows Robert Jekyll, the grandson of Henry Jekyll, on his quest to discover his real identity, his true family history and the nature of his ‘curse’ – which his foster father, Dr Vishal Najaran, is controlling with medication. His journey takes him into a dark and unforgiving place, as his alter ego seems capable of anything. At the same time there are shadowy forces trying to find Jekyll and the source of his powers.

Inspired by? Exploiting the '#39;brand recognition'#39; more like. This is utter tosh with only peripheral attachment to the classic tale. There are CGI monsters, a shadowy Government Agency, some evil cabal, oh and the long lost orphaned grandson of the original protagonist . . .
A surprising story - with very little to do with Jekyll and Hyde, and constantly teetering between being brilliantly unique (especially in the way it combines so many other stories) and being rubbish. I didn'#39;t give any episode a really high rating - but then I never gave any a bad rating. If you are into things like Grimm, Supernatural, etc, then I recommend you give this a try. And stick with it through the first episode.
