In a uniquely hilarious odyssey of self-discovery and cultural observation, documentary filmmaker and self-described "anxious New Yorker" John Wilson covertly and obsessively films the lives of his fellow New Yorkers while attempting to give everyday advice on relatable topics. The awkward contradictions of modern life are eased by Wilson’s candid, unpolished commentary. Building upon Wilson’s previously released "how to" short films, each episode takes wildly unexpected turns but is grounded in John's refreshing honesty.

going into this I thought the awkward presentation would eventually become unbearable, but honestly after the first few episodes I was hooked. its absurd. I can't look away.

One of the weirdest documentary series that can be found. The irony of John Wilson manifests itself in episodes with strange themes such as scaffolding or ways of covering furniture. The mastery of the project is in how it manages to make each episode drift towards unusual paths, which cast doubt on the lucidity of the human being. It is an unusual look at life, a discovery of the most remote places of our existence.

No, but no, either I don't understand the message of this documentary series, or it's just weak. There are only a few episodes that are watchable and slightly increase the rating.

I just can't get past the insanely monotone and babbling narration of this show. Zero effort was made to make him sound even remotely presentable. He stumbles over his words, babbles, provides lots of "um" and "uh" and is quite possibly the most boring speaker ever to grace a documentary. Has he More
