First of all, this was more of a "mystery-slice of life" than a horror. Second, this was stupid and full of cringe. The entire scenario was summed up in a "[spoiler]whim of a god[/spoiler]" cliché. This anime won't be recommended my me.

While I can't give this a high recommendation, I, too, will say it was an interesting watch. However, like @Zerpente, I also think it felt "rushed" at the end, and the reverse Gozer the Gozarian Q and A as well as the subsequent smackdown, dismemberment, and .liquification of the homicidal baddies, though satisfying, was also puzzling, as their motivations were not really clear, along with the " I've watched you for 20 iterations and you humans are predictable and boring, so, frack off", trope. However it WAS nice that Lennie, er.., Kan, did not meet the same fate.

Interesting at first but feels rushed in the last episode. More episodes to tell the story would have flowed better
