Complete drivel, I watched the first 10 minutes of the first episode and that was enough for me. I'#39;m getting worried about Netflix creating this type of arse water programming. Who actually sat down and watched this and thought ... yeah that'#39;s great lets commission a whole season of it?

I enjoyed it. Whether or not you think it’s true doesn’t matter if you enjoy a good ghost story.

"Haunted" is hammy, heavy-handed, contrived, and frequently gratuitous. However, though it initially appears to be a garden-variety "true" ghost confessional, it does stand apart for two reasons: 1) Having the narrator address friends and family instead of a faceless producer adds a dimension to the usual formula; and 2) the series explores the meanings of the word "haunted" beyond the paranormal. "Haunted" generally fails to convince the viewer, and as is often the case with the genre, it relies too heavily on horror tropes and exaggerated dramatizations. Arguably, the most effective moments may be in the non-supernatural narratives, but taken in its entirety, most viewers will probably find the show an unsatisfying slog.

Okay yes, it'#39;s obviously fake, but so is most TV. The issue is it'#39;s also just not very good. The first season feels like they were written as one-hour episodes, but then they only filmed the first half of the script. I realize that '#34;true events'#34; don'#39;t always have satisfying endings and that'#39;s the context of the show, but if you'#39;re going to sacrifice believably for more interesting plots you can also give those plots a conclusion. Season 2 did a little better, but was still just too little. Overall a good idea (AHS: Roanoke did the same basic thing very well) but they clung way too closely to the '#34;true story'#34; idea to actually make something fun and interesting.

The first season was intriguing, but the second was just over the top. I won'#39;t be watching any more.

The way the stories are told is done in a ridiculous and completely unbelievable fashion, which already makes it basically unwatchable so I guess in season two they really had to focus on the sex and nudity???????? Literally five minutes into the episode and all it is is the couple having sex....like uhm okay? What does this have to do with the story???????????????????????????????? I'#39;ve heard sex sells but I'#39;m trying to watch a stupid ghost show jfc............

Completely fake and I wish they'#39;d NOT say it was a '#34;true story'#34; maybe '#34;based very loosely on something we heard.'#34; That being said, it'#39;s entertaining made up ghost show for when you don'#39;t want to watch Znack Bagels style shows. Or want something over the top.

Yes, obviously fake but something about stupid ghost shows is enjoyable to me.
