> This show is all about second chances. I believe that this drama has a moral value behind it - to tell us to believe in miracles and believe in ourselves no matter what. Because every decision we have made for our life depends on whether we believe in oneself and our family to make our decisions unregrettable. Good people make a decision and try to do their best while bad people make a decision regret not choosing something else.

I started watching ER Couple because its very similar to 'Jealousy Incarnate' .I find this drama totally different from the other medical dramas I have watched such as Good Doctor and Dr.John .Why do I say so? Usually medical dramas are focused on the medical stuffs and the management of the hospital. But for ER Couple, it shows not only these, but the relationships between the main casts - romance and friendship. This makes the drama awesome as they actually relate the medical parts into their relationships. For example, medical errors are commonly made, which implies in life which you will often meet many obstacles. You can get what I mean if you watch the very last part of the last episode - the part Jinhee narrates.

PLOT
-------

I liked the story. I thought it made some good points. The theme of don't give up on a relationship just because it's not easy was prominent throughout all of the drama. I really like stories that have this outlook just because I feel like today too many people give up too easily on relationships like this.
I really like how the drama shows how Jinhee managed to overcome her fear and to take the risk bravely in order to be with Changmin. She transformed from a little girl who is cowardly facing her relationships into a brave woman who is willing to have the courage in order to create her own happiness.
Surprisingly, what I really cared about the most wasn't the main couple but EVERYONE. All the characters were important in my eyes *whispers* especially Kim Min Ki. That drama is more than "and they rekindled their romance". It's about accepting past mistakes (yours as well as others') confronting your fears and moving forwards (toward your very own happiness). It's about taking care of the people you love and understanding them.

CAST
-------
The cast is interesting, there's a lot of chemistry going on between Song Ji Hyo and Choi Jin Hyuk, and their scenes were quite funny, especially at the beginning of the drama. I think the character I was most concerned about was Gook Cheon Soo, because he seemed a lot like an average person lost in a giant white world and in himself at the same time; simply an individual who can't connect himself with others - more of a good book character that you grow fond of after awhile, rather than an actual drama character. I also loved Shim Ji Hye's character, she depicts a role model to look up to, and Lee Sung Min was classy as well.

Chief Gook and Prof. Shim are the pair I shipped in the show. Chief Gook shows the care towards Jinhee in a cold way and he does not even interfere her love life at all. Usually second male leads will just use any means to get the female lead, but well, not for Chief Gook! As for Prof. Shim, I was actually shocked by her character portrayed. At first I thought she is a common second female lead who likes one of the male leads and well, the love rectangle happens. But it doesn't seem to be that case for her. Even though the viewers can see that she still loves Chief Gook, but she doesn't show out those kind of jealousy and instead, she helps him out a lot by telling him to be more brave and confess to Jinhee. I really admire this kind of women because they are truly good friends. She is infact 10 times better than Jinh33 and Chief should have realized it

I also like how they show the progress of Changmin's mother to Jinhee, from hatred to neutral, like how she realised that controlling her son's life doesn't make him even happy at all. Also Jin Ae and Kwangsoo and Baby Gook! They do make this drama merrier.

VERDICT
----------

I enjoyed this start to finish. There was some dead space in some of the drama but not too bad. Warning: This is a medical drama so there is blood. I'm a bit of a pansy when it comes seeing operations being done in dramas, so I'd thought I'd share that with other people who feel the same. It's not very many scenes. I mean I made it through all 21 episodes. I did skip the operations, but that didn't really take away from the story.

I liked the OST but didn't love it. The medical aspects of the drama were cool but after a while I wasn't interested in their cases anymore.

Now, for the roundup, I'll admit I watched this in two days, and I think that tells a lot about just how indulging and interesting this drama turned out to be. I'm not usually hyped over hospital dramas or couples been-there-and-back, but the final overall of the drama made it so much more than a rekindled romance with a hospital as its back setting.
