I don’t usually enjoy BL series but I am following the filmography of two of my favourite actors, View and June, who are among the supporting cast. This series is full of testosterone. The writing has no depth, and, especially towards the end, is totally unbelievable. After the first 3 episodes, I lost interest, but was stalwart to see what View and June would do with their roles. View, once again, crafted a whole character. Her range is undeniable. The girl is a chameleon. She and June work so well together. Munkinone

I really enjoyed this one because of its simplicity. I think the title was a misnomer honestly, as it’s not overly complicated or particularly dangerous. The conflict is resolved without being too over the top or drawn out. The love triangle is short, emotional, but solved without misunderstandings. The secondary couple, and characters, have their own weight and personalities to them. Chimon and Perth are both very talented for being as young as they are. Perth in particular has an excellent way of portraying a variety of emotions with just his eyes, a skill I can only hope to see him expand upon in future years. The characterization of Sailom and Kang was consistent, with linear growth that made sense. I think his drama will be undervalued because the shows it was competing against in the same time slot were very strong (see “Only Friends”), and I do think Chimon needs to get more comfortable with acting in romantic/intimate scenes, but it’s definitely worth the watch, in my opinion.
