While I love the premise of this show (and it really is a great, fun show to watch) I have to take issue with the fact that this should be taken only as a "competition" and not an actual cooking show. There are some amazing dishes that get served up here but the sad fact is, you can't gauge this as a "cooking competition" because it's far too easy for the best chefs (out of the four competitors) to get singled out and sabotaged. I've only watched a few episodes but that's happened on every single episode…and it was clear that the "best" chef didn't truly "outperform" the competition: they just managed to spend more money so they could eliminate the real chefs. That being said, if you watch this as a fun, "cutthroat" kind of game-show, it can be enjoyable. Don't go into this one expecting to see any real cooking techniques or creative ideas, though: the object here seems to be to take out the real chefs so the insecure "I don't really know what I'm doing but I'll make everyone else look worse than myself" imposters have a shot at winning. This is not a cooking show; it's a game show. Nothing more.
