Culprits

Disregard the rating. Has been there for months before the show was on air. With a solid start and an interesting story. If you like crime drama, give this one a shot.

A pretty mundane crime caper about a heist that goes wrong for the culprits. Way to much time jumping back and forth for little point, way too self indulgent, trying to be way too clever for its own good oh and let’s throw in a bunch of pointless gay sex scenes just because hey we’re hip. I used to quite like Gemma Arterton but in this she really proves she’s not capable of being anything but a supporting actor, a B list support at best. The rest of the cast is also pretty second rate and the acting third rate, but some of that may be down to the crappy script. The whole crew that gets recruited to do this heist are pretty dumb but there’s dumb and dumber and right at the top of the tree is David, seriously there are more intelligent geraniums out there. And seriously, who designed the wardrobe for Arterton? Looks like everything was cast offs from an ultra low budget binned before release sci fi series. At least it’s over!
