If you're a fan of horror and can't stand to watch movies because of all the unnecessary jump scares then this series is for you. The story is simple yet so elegant, writing is amazing which keeps you interested in what will happen next throughout the episode, acting by the female lead is beyond extraordinary. I have watched other works of Kim Tae-ri and wasn't amused at all but with Revenant she has gone on a completely different level. Highly recommend this series.

Asian television seems to have a fascination for the supernatural: ghosts, reincarnations, spirits. I’m finding it hard to find kdramas set in a natural world, most of them have some lean toward the supernatural. This one is overtly supernatural, one character is possessed, the other has and the ability to see ghosts. The story felt a little forced at the beginning, but once it settled it was a great thriller. The acting was on point. (I followed Kim Tae-ri’s filmography, here.) The characters are fully developed. I give the early episodes a 7 (interesting) but the later episodes an 8 (great thriller) out of 10. [Thriller]

It took me a long time to watch these 12 episodes. There is a lot of time spent watching the characters go through piles of documents and weird objects, searching for some thing. However, the payoff was worth it! The last two episodes were very exciting, highly emotional, and intense. Kim Tae-Ri gives a truly star worthy performance as the main character.

Once again, Kim Tae Ri has proven why she's a Rank 1 actor. Special mention was her portrayal of the ghost desperate to live yet Tae Ri's character was forcing her to burn the final key object to banish the spirit.

This drama was fantastic from beginning to end.

It was super creepy and unsettling, but in a quiet way that built a lot of tension and didn't ruin the whole thing with unnecessary blood and gore. I think fans of horror and casual watchers alike will love that element of it.

Once again the South Koreans, come up with yet another successful series.

Revenant mixes light horror, with a mystery thriller. Perhaps the closest but still imperfect comparison, is The Ring, the Japanese horror films.
