Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor

Great first season, I'd say Akashic Records is worth it if you're looking for something to watch. The first episode might be weak, but it picks up exponentially in the second. The characters are fantastic and have a strong chemistry, with Glen and Sistine taking up most of the spotlight. The world is equally as interesting, albeit not fully explained in Season 1. The story was more on the back burner, with a slice of life vibe in control. This was my only disappointment, but I watched it for the slice of life. I enjoyed watching Akashic Records and think it deserves a second season. Non-spoiler ending, but spoiler if you want to be completely surprised: [spoiler] The ending was somewhat weak, and a bit of a setup for either a second season, or to push you to get the printed version. I'm not all that disappointed about it if there is a second season in the works. I still think this anime is worth watching, since the ending is acceptable, especially if you pay attention to what Sistine says towards the end. [/spoiler]
