I watched this because I am still following the filmography of the remarkable Park Eun-bin. This show is an ensemble piece about 5 women entering young adulthood. Each of these women’s back stories are revealed over the first season making the stories deeper than just being about their quests to find their guy. It is this deeper character focus that held my attention and brought tension to the plot. The whole core cast actors gave genuine, solid performances. Eun-bin plays an extravagant extrovert, with her character become featured in the second season. There was a confusing cast swap out of the core 5 in the second season, and change up of the actresses look, that made it hard for me to know whose story was being followed. However, the addition of a new, mysterious character, as part of the core 5, gave the plot depth, and the last 2 episodes of the second season, which centred around Eun-bin’s character, lifted the quality of the drama. Those episodes (S2 E13-14) and one in season one (S1 E10) raised my ratings to 8s (great) but, otherwise, I give season one a rating of 7.5 (interesting) out of 10 and season two a 7 (entertaining).
