It's unfortunate this wasn't a worldwide release, and that English speaking audiences are limited to the homogenized remake -- this is by far the better of the two. I found both seasons on Vimeo, with English subtitles -- here's the subtitled trailer: https://vimeo.com/35140857

No fancy fighting, no fancy lights, no explosions, no expensive effects... it's a simple but brilliant and gorgeous show. I recommend it to everyone.

Real Humans asks the philosophical question, "Would you still hook up with a totally hot woman (or man, your choice) if it turned out to be a robot?" The answer given is a realistic, "Hell yeah!"
