It's worth a watch if you want something funny and entertaining. There are also fantasy elements and I would say that the parts I was looking forward to the most was the entertainment industry part.

>A girls earning for a bad fairy that in his own words is a bastard that doesn't keep promises

It started out well; both on the story and romance ; but its not well paced in the middle and then the ending is even worse ;
its a cliffhanger hinting for second season that we never got (just like Vagabond )
. A goblin level premise that gets half-assed story & production midway and produces an underappreciated show but u still have to watch it!

PROS
-------
- Lee Seung Gi is just gold in this series, I cannot think of anybody else for the role of Son Oh Gong. Same goes for Cha Seung Won (Ma Wang) and Sung Hyuk (General Frost).
- Seung Gi and Seung-won are like brother ; after " Ÿou are all Surrounder " this is second series together and they carry the same bromance from there in this show.
- Soundtrack is Bomb: "Let me out" is a hit, got stuck in my head for weeks, as well as "If You Were Me" and "When I Saw You".
- I loved the fact that supernatural elements, history and human nature are intertwined in the love story: it makes it really special.
- I don't particularly like Oh Yeon Seo, but i loved the first 5 episodes because of the tension between the two leads.- Lee El (Secretary Ma) is one of the most underrated character, IMHO, but I loved her a lot.

CONS
--------
- The graphics are very poor .
- The fights were very average ; if you are going to make a supernatural series make them unbelievable atleast
- The ending it's not that bad, but it's way too predictable: if you're not into open endings, just forget about this drama.
- The leads really become dumb in the end ; for the plots sake.

I think it's fair to say that this drama was good overall: the story is intriguing, well written for the first 10 episodes and it made me curious. If I can say something bad about it, I'd have gone for a shorter version. 20 episodes are too many, since part of the story (especially from episode 14) was just fillers.I'd rather watch 10 very good episodes than 20 just for the sake of carrying it on

I don't think I'd re-watch this, cause it's too painful now (i didn't enjoy the ending) and also because of the dragged out part (13-17), but It was definitely worth my time.

Now that I finished it all, I believe I have the right to judge it fairly. First off, the main actor Lee Seung-gi was really great. I felt like his acting fit the role perfectly and that he was very good at portraying the character he played. Cha Seung-won also did a good-ish job. His acting was okay-ish maybe it's his role but he did well. When he was in pain or angry he portrayed those actions perfectly. The rest of the cast were good as well but the lead actress was always on my nerves. Oh Yeon-seo was what I struggled to swallow. I honestly don't know if it's her acting or if she was actually supposed to be that way but I felt like she was extremely slow and cold and also standoffish at everything. She did an okay-ish job but I just couldn't stand her that much. I also felt like the relationship between her and the main actor was a bit strained and that he was giving his 100% and she hardly gave 10% but it's all the storyline's fault - at least thats what I'm putting the blame on - but that's my opinion and what I felt like. Not to mention, but the storyline was a bit rough around the edges but to be quite honest I overall enjoyed this series and it will be missed.

After the master piece that was Doom at Your Service, I started this show to try and fill the hole that one had left. It had big shoes to fill, and it failed miserably.

I really struggled with the first few episodes and almost gave up. Everything would be going well, and then they'd add these horribly over the top scenes with extremely cringy, unfunny humor. I powered through because I saw potential on what the show was building with the main couple, and wanted to know how that would continue. Luckily, after episode five or so, the cringe lessened significantly (either that or I just grew desensitized).

As a whole, I have to say I think quite of bit of thought was put into writing this show. There were a fair number of characters and a ton of different plot lines, but somehow they all ended up being interconnected and tied together in some way or another. A lot of them I didn't care for, and wish would have been taken out for the sake of making the show shorter (I don't think this needed to be 20 episodes long). We spent a whole chunk of the show on storylines completely unrelated to them main couple and plot, but at least there was a point to everything that was added.

Lee Seung Gi definitely was the MVP of the show. His acting was fantastic. And him and Yeon Seo played quite well off each other. I really enjoyed every scene they did together.

However, coming back to the fact that I was expecting an epic, fantasy love story riddled with angst and heartbreak, this whole thing ended up being a huge disappointment. I went in fully expecting to cry, but I never even teared up.

If you're thinking of watching this and haven't seen Doom yet, go watch that one instead, it's better in every single aspect.
