Julie Gayet (born 3 June 1972) is a French actress and film producer. She is also known for being the wife of the former President of France, François Hollande. Gayet was born in Suresnes, Hauts-de-Seine, where her father Brice Gayet is a professor and head of gastric surgery at the Institut Mutualiste Montsouris.
