David is an award-winning film & television director and executive producer based in Vancouver, Canada. His work is frequently showcased to global audiences on prominent networks, including Hallmark Channel (U.S.), Lifetime Television (U.S.), Channel 4 (U.K.), TF1 (France), and the W Network (Canada). His projects have garnered multiple accolades, including nominations from the Canadian Screen Awards and the Leo Awards. As a prolific television movie director, David has directed two dozen films spanning genres such as holiday, romance, mystery, and thriller. Some of his most recent works include the Hallmark Mystery original Nelly Knows Mysteries (2024), the Lifetime Movies original Deadly Wives Club (2024), and UPtv's Dial S for Santa (2023). Currently, he is directing the Hallmark original All I Need for Christmas (2024). Beyond directing, David has been instrumental in script development for several successful films, including The Picture of Christmas (2021), A Snapshot of Forever (2022), Mistletoe Match (2022), Love's Secret Ingredient (2023), and Royally Yours, At Christmas (2023). David is an alumnus of the prestigious TIFF Filmmaker Lab, a JETS Talent Lab participant at the 68th Berlinale, and a Telus STORYHIVE Banff Fellowship recipient. His feature film projects have received development support from notable funding bodies like Telefilm Canada and Bell Media's Harold Greenberg Fund. A graduate of Vancouver Film School with a specialization in Film Production, David also holds a Juris Doctorate from the Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia.
