Xanadu

What an amazing movie with the amazing Australian Olivia Newton John,saw this at the cinema and now it's finally on Blu-ray I just hope one day they release it in 4K, amazing love story,great visuals and one amazing soundtrack thanks to Olivia Newton John...10/10

While watching Xanadu, about 10 minutes in, I could feel my eyes glass over, as I stepped into a trance. Throughout the runtime, my friends feverishly called out to me, begging to know if I was okay, but I could not hear them—for I was with Xanadu now. I was unsure if I'd ever escape. Unsure if I'd know the joy of life once more. I made hollow prayers within my mind, statements of what I'd do if I escaped, but do not mistake that for hope. And yet the film had mercy, for 5 minutes from the credits, its powers lifted, and I grew sentience once more. I could feel its effects on my body while I was in its grasp; my teeth were rattled, my body stiff, that nervous sweat down my back. And yet I had lived. And as my friends fell upon me, asking meaningless questions pertaining to this reality, a dawning realization fell upon me; Xanadu had tried to kill me...And I had won.
