Great ending with a killer atmosphere and superb sound design but the rest of it is basically 'look at me I'm weird' in a super bland and uninteresting fashion. Also the teenage characters are so annoying they give me headache. I can see why some people may enjoy it, but this is not for me.

There's a certain charm in knowing a film like this may never be made like this again, with the advances in technology. Its less of a horror film and more of a psychological survival film, with the emphasis on the interactions of the kids. Lots of zoom ins and pans, giving this frenetic energy that wouldn't have existed if the camera was solely on a tripod.
