Despite a decent cast, '#39;With This Ring'#39; is just a dull, predictable love squabble. Regina Hall is perfectly sufficient as Trista, as is Stephen Bishop as Nate; the latter, who I remember from '#39;Imposters'#39;, is rather underused - a pure romance comedy with him and Hall could'#39;ve been very good. The rest, e.g. Jill Scott (Viviane), are fine. The boring premise is what lets this film down. You know what'#39;s going to happen from the opening minutes, unfortunately they don'#39;t do enough to sway your thought process away from the obvious. Other parts, like the music, dialogue and humour, are also poor; Jason Rogel'#39;s Mikiko is all that drew a laugh from me. Overall, a poor film - which is a shame, as this likeable cast should'#39;ve been utilised better.
