David Lynch's genius shines through in this movie. Despite being based on a book, the director manages to imprint his unique, detailed mark, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a dream, with perfectly integrated surrealist elements. The narrative moves between moments of romance, drama, comedy, explicit violence and expressive performances. The story is fascinating and gains strength thanks to the extraordinary chemistry between Laura Dern and Nicolas Cage. The dialogues are memorable, and the intense personalities of the characters make the plot even more engaging, in addition to an excellent soundtrack. It's a true masterpiece by David Lynch, who combines his style and creativity in a remarkable film.

This was a visually stunning film, i absolutely loved it. You can feel lynch throughout, and the score is so palpably angelo's creation. A lot of familiar faces in this one, but i always knew lynch had his muses. Sheryl lee as the good witch was brilliant truly.

Lynch is recognizable, it is clear he is able to make good films. As usual the development is often unclear, but he added interesting references. Probably not his best.

Unlike everyone says, "Wild at Heart" is far from being David Lynch's worst film. Actually, there is a part of me that even thinks it's a masterpiece. As a parody, it doesn't have the gloomy atmosphere of "Blue Velvet", but personally, I found it even more extreme and unc More
