I give full marks to this movie for the ambitious tale that is trying to be told. The difficulty in telling this story is that it requires the viewer to sit through a fair amount of setup until we start to get into the really meaty stuff. The movie is really a play and is both the best thing and the worst thing about it - I think the actors do a very good job at portraying their very damaged characters. Once there it is pretty interesting and a long way from where it started. I can't say that I loved it but I appreciate the effort. Essentially a play. So the dialogue has to be good and it is. The issue is, how long can you stretch out one setting without any interesting events occuring whilst relying on two characters dialogue to provide the stimulus? Not very far really. Especially in this style.
