I expected more. This movie is extremely boring and not funny. I watched it only because of Kristen Wiig yet it didn't help at all.

One has to imagine that this movie was pitched to studio executives after a long hard screening day where one horribly bad movie after another was presented and out of sheer exhaustion and frustration they green lit this project only so they could go home. This Rom-Com contains neither romance nor comedy and is nothing more than 90 minutes of exploitation for the mentally impaired and self-absorbed. Kristen Wiig does a great job at playing a mentally disturbed individual but this was an exceptionally poor vehicle for her to do it in. All of the great supporting talent is wasted and the direction of the movie is as chaotic as Alice Klieg herself. Not a very enjoyable ride. Not a very enjoyable ride at all.

A truly strange film from the brilliant mind of Elliot Laurence. Great cast but I just couldn’t engage with it. I pushed through only because I have such respect for the talent. I give this film a 5 (meh) out of 10. [Dramedy]

This is actually a good film that misled by its low rating. But the end should have been really better, other than that the rest of the film was enjoyable. Another small scale movie and another excellent performance by Kristen Wiig. T More
