I've never watched Breaking Bad, but I know of Aaron Paul, and when I looked up the show's original run after watching this movie, I was shocked to discover that this movie was released _after_ Breaking Bad ended. No clue what Aaron Paul saw in this script that made him agree to this movie.

Honestly, the last three minutes of the movie were more interesting than the entire thing.
I think it would have been more compelling if the movie bounced back and forth between several rental houses (maybe the events in some houses are more mundane and normal than others) to really give us a feel of just how wide-spread this spy cam operation is. Really, I found imagining what would happen after the movie ended more enjoyable than the movie I had just watched.
The acting was...alright. The plot...also alright. Could have been worse, but definitely could have been a lot better. I will say that the tension did build at a good pace, and the last act of the movie wasn't too bad. The end is (kind of) open-ended as there's quite a few loose ends left for you to think about.

What I don't understand at all is why
they destroyed the video evidence what would have proven they were acting in self-defence? They mentioned being worried about committing a crime in a foreign country, so I guess they didn't want to be the new Amanda Knox? Didn't make sense to me at all.
If you're a fan of any of the actors, maybe watch it? Honestly, I don't know. It's only an hour an a half, maybe give it a go when you're in the mood to half-watch something.
